The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) has officially affirmed Seyi Makinde as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general election, marking a significant milestone in the party’s preparations to provide Nigerians with a credible alternative leadership platform.

The affirmation followed a series of nationwide consultations, stakeholder engagements, and party congresses conducted across the federation, where delegates and party leaders unanimously expressed confidence in Governor Makinde’s leadership capacity, governance record, and vision for a better Nigeria.
